It is tempting to think that to be well is to be uniquely skilled at keeping your emotions in check and learning how to live in and project a perpetual state of peace and positivity. This can be especially tempting when the messages all around you are telling you

All beautiful and necessary words, however, if something in the sentiment is missing, then this gathering is for you. Consider it a mini-meetup, a place where we will honour, give space and ritualise E-motions

Reset Gathering

We have been brought up in a culture that teaches us when our emotions get weird and heavy, it is better to suppress them or disconnect from them altogether. We are taught that Illogical instincts and riotous feelings like anger, frustration, despair, worry..
• Have negative impacts on our health.
• Are inappropriate to express publicly
• Are inconsequential when we compare them to other people’s circumstances
• Are a burden on others that already have a lot of their plate
• Have a pre-determined lifespan and cannot exist once this lifespan expires so we must “move on and get over it”

And so we learn how to emotional behave.

But here’s the thing YOU DO NOT NEED TO EMOTIONALLY BEHAVE.

In fact it is unhealthy for you.

Stress is not bad for you - being stuck in stress is
Emotions are not bad for you - being stuck in an emotion is

This is when breakdowns, burnout, exhaustion, depression, panic attacks happen.

Anchoring into our humanness is essential when it comes to experiencing magic, beauty and fulfilment on earth. Learning how to decode your body’s language - emotion being one of them - is a powerful way to support yourself in times of adversity.

Using somatic, body-based therapy, we are giving all of what is alive inside you - grief, pain, exhaustion, heartache, worry, anxiety - a place to go.

FAQs

Will this workshop be recorded?

Yes. It is preferable to turn up live however you will receive an email with your unique link to replay the class once it has uploaded to the Zoom Server. The recording is only available for 48hrs. No extensions for any reason.

Will there be nudity?

No. There will be no nudity in this workshop.

I would like to remain anon, is this possible?

Absolutely, as with all of my workshops it is not required that you have your cameras on. Your audio will remain muted for the duration of the workshop anyway but you choose what happens with your camera and whether it stays on or off.

Are men welcome to join RESET?

Yes, this event is open to everyone.

I cannot attend this date, will you do it again?

As of now there is no plan to hold it again.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event start date. After this, there will be no refund for any reason and tickets cannot be transferred to future events.
